Clueless Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac is trying to shift the ignominy of Ghana's loss to Comoros on the red card that was shown captain Andre Ayew in the 25th minute.

Ghana lost 3-2 to lowly ranked Comoros Island but captain Andre Ayew was shown a red card in the 25th minute after an innocuous challenge on the Comoros goalie.

A shot from Kamal Deen Sulemana was spilled by the Comoros goalkeeper and Ayew prodded the ball towards goal but his momentum sent him into the arms of the goalkeeper.

As the goalie was being treated the VAR signaled to the referee to watch it on the monitor which he did and showed Ayew a red card.

For the first time in the history of the African Cup of Nations, Ghana played at the tournament without recording a single win in the three group matches as Ghana lost their opening game 1-0 to Morocco before drawing 1-1 with Gabon and lost 3-2 to minnows Comoros on Tuesday evening.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, Milovan Rajevac said the red card dished out to captain Andre Ayew changed everything his team had planned for.

“We did'nt start how we wanted and we conceded an early goal and then the red card changed everything. I think Comoros deserved this win,” Milovan Rajevac said.
