Former Accra Hearts  of Oak striker Cosmos Dawda has finally signed for Jordanian side Al Faisaly, ending weeks of speculations and denials.

The 24-year-old made an official announcement over his new move to the Amman club where he will maintain his favourite no.14 shirt.

"I officially signed for Al-Faisaly Sc of Jordan....now a Blue Soldier," the player said on his Facebook wall on Tuesday.

He  did not reveal how many years contract he has signed and how much was involved.

But according to information gathered by ghanaguardian.com, it is a one year deal subjected to renewal.

Cosmos  late last month lashed out at some Ghanaian journalist when news went viral that he signed two years for the Al-Faisaly,which is the most successful club in the AL-Manaseer.

He however confirmed being in the Jordanian capital, factifying  his visit  to the team's facilities but falsifying a deal had been struck.

"It's a great city and a great club with great history..Their respect for me continued as they went on with pictures of me around their facility as well as selfies (FOOTBALL LIFE EVERYWHERE),"Cosmos  said in his earlier denial statement.

The former Mighty Jets star ended his contract with the Phobians, when the latter decided to offload some of its workforce.

He was Hearts' highest scorer two season ago, when he first joined the former African Champions under Japanese American coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.
