An attorney and one Albert Coleman have been sentenced to 12 years prison in a $200,000 fraudulent land transaction by an Accra Circuit court.

Sekyere and Coleman were said to have collected the amount from one Ato Hamilton under the pretext of providing him with a parcel of land at Cantonments in Accra but failed to do so three years earlier.

Announcing to their sentence, the court presided over by Mrs Malike Wornya Dey found the accused guilty of the offence of defrauding by false pretenses, hence their conviction.
