CSKA Sofia have been handed a major boost ahead of their clash with Vereya FC on Saturday with the return of Black Stars attacker Edwin Gyasi to training.

The pacey winger who has been out for a couple of weeks missed the game against Ludogorets in the Bulgarian league last Sunday.

The 26 year old has however stepped up his recovery, with slight jogging and exercising with the ball at his feet. He is expected to join group training before Saturday.

CSKA Sofia will travel to the Trace Arena in Stara Zagora for the game against Vereya and Gyasi will be looking to start the game.

Gyasi joined the Bulgarians in February and has since been a key player for the club as it seeks to wrestle the League title from Ludogorets.

Ludogorest are top of the table with 85 points with CSKA Sofia behind them with 72 points after 34 games in the season.
