Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh is heading closer to German Bundesliga side Freiburg SC ahead of the summer transfer window.

The FC St. Pauli midfielder has been a delight to watch this season for his side as he pushed their promotion which eventually faltered.

He has been linked to a lot of clubs in the German Bundesliga but the player's entourage have began talks with Freiburg with FC St. Pauli resigned to losing their prized assert.

According to information from the Abendblatt, the 26-year-old met with officials at SC Freiburg on Tuesday.

The Ghanaian international would play there in the Europa League next season where he would hope to announce himself to the world.

The Ghanaian is contracted to the Millerntor till the summer of 2023 and has been a revelation this season.

He has ten goals and 11 assists in 25 matches for his side this season.

Kofi Kyereh helped Ghana to book a place at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after defeating Nigeria in the play offs.
