Lower tier German side St Pauli pummeled Holstein Kiel in their opening day match at the Millenrtor Stadion.

The home side were quick off the blocks as Leart Paqarada opened the scores in the 11th minute of the game after intense pressure.

St Pauli went into the break with a solitary goal lead after a dominant start to the game but they left all the other goals for the second half.

Ghanaian forward Daniel Kofi-Kyereh was on target for his side St Pauli in the opening Bundeliga II match against Holstein Kiel on Sunday in the 61st minute.

It was his side's second goal as they cruised to a 3-0 win with Guido Burgstaller netting the third goal in injury time.

Last season Kyereh netted 9 goals and created nine in 34 matches for St Pauli.

The Ghanaian forward joined the Bundesliga II outfit last season from Sandhausen.
