Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has voiced profound concern over recent violent incidents in Nigeria, including the deadly attack on a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) branch in Kwara State and the abduction of schoolgirls in Kebbi State.
In a statement, Davido expressed solidarity with the victims and their families, stressing that no one should endure such suffering.
“My heart goes out to the young girls kidnapped in Kebbi State and to their families. No family deserves this pain,” he said, urging Nigerians to stand united amid the rising insecurity.
The singer condemned the church assault, in which gunmen stormed a service, killing worshippers and abducting others. He called on authorities to intensify efforts to rescue the girls and encouraged anyone with credible information to report it responsibly to support the ongoing operations.
“Everything must be done to bring the Kebbi girls home safely,” Davido added, offering prayers for their protection and for comfort for grieving families in Kwara.
His comments come as public pressure mounts on Nigerian authorities to address the growing wave of violent attacks affecting communities nationwide.
