Deputy General Secretary of the Confederations of African Football (CAF), Tony Baffoe has joined the long list of ex footballers paying homage to Cameroonian icon, Samuel Eto'o who announced his retirement from football at age 38.

Anthony Baffoe an ex professional footballer who played for the like of FC Koln, Fortuna Dusseldorf, OGC Nice is among the few former internationals on the continet who has ventured into football administration.

The indefatigable deputy general secretary welcomed the legendary Eto'o into retirement and life after football with a tweet on his handle.

Samuel Etoo played for about 14 football clubs with the highlight of them been at Barcelona wher he had five incredibly successful seasons  at the Camp Nou, scoring 130 in 199 matches. He also got his hands on three La Ligas, a Copa del Rey, two Supercopa de Espana and two Champions Leagues - scoring in the final of both.

Two seasons at the Inter Milan saw him score 53 goals in 102 matches, winning Serie A, two Coppa Italian, a Supercoppa Italiana, another Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup.

In all the Cameroonian played 842 games across about 14 clubs and the Cameroonian national teams scoring a staggering 416 goals,providing 121 assist and wining 20 trophies in about 18 years.
