The Deputy Minister of Finance, Abena Osei-Asare has constructed a 3-unit classroom block for the people Ankasse in the Atiwa East constituency of the Eastern region.

The classroom block, furnished with modern furniture and several teaching and learning materials has been commissioned and handed over to the community.

Hon Abena Osei-Asare who doubles as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Atiwa East also donated 10 streetlights to the Ankaase community.

She again presented an amount of Gh¢1,000 cash each to 31 schools in the area in support of the School Feeding Program. She provided cooking pots, plates, bowls and other needs to the caterers in the discharge of their cooking duties.

Speaking at the commissioning of the projects, the MP encouraged the pupils to make the best use of the facilities and study hard to attain the highest on the educational ladder.

She further advised parents to play their roles effectively to support the shaping of their children’s future by giving them the basic materials to aid in their studies.

The Chief of Ankaase, Berima Ansah Sasraku Ofram II, expressed gratitude to their MP for showing commitment to the community by putting up a school block for them and also given street lights.
