The Appointment Committee of parliament has disclosed it will on Wednesday, 16 May 2018 vet Deputy Special Prosecutor nominee, Ms. Cynthia Jane-Naa Korshie Lamptey.

The public hearing will commence at 10:00am.

The Speaker, Aaron Mike Oquaye disclosed the nomination of Ms Lamptey as declared by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on the floor of the House on Thursday, 26 April 2018.

Ms Lamptey is lawyer of 30 years standing at the Ghana Bar and a former acting Director of Public Prosecutions.

If approved, Ms Lamptey will be assisting Martin Amidu, who is the Special Prosecutor.
