Former President of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) and Board member of Hearts of Oak, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has called for the dissolution of the senior men's national team the Black Stars whiles hiring a competent coach.

He has called for the exit of Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac who presided over the latest rot at the African Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.

Ghana crushed out of the tournament after losing to lowly ranked Comoros Island 3-2 on Tuesday when many expected the Black Stars to win to qualify.

The Black Stars lost their opening game to Morocco by 1-0 before drawing 1-1 with Gabon and losing 3-2 to the 132nd ranked Comoros Island as captain Andre Ayew was sent off in the 25th minute.

Many Ghanaians are calling for the head of the Serbian trainer who is on his second stint with the Black Stars after he was appointed in September last year but he says he is not going anywhere.

Ghana's 40 year old wait for an African Cup of Nation's title will have to wait a bit longer till next year in Ivory Coast but before that Dr Nyaho Tamakloe is calling for some radical changes.

Asked whether Ghana should get a new set of players for the Black Stars, Dr Nayho Nyaho-Tamakloe answered, "Absolutely. That is what should be done now because what I saw this evening was so disturbing," the Hearts of Oak Board Member said on Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV.

“You can see that for the first time we have players who were not focusing on what they were doing because some of the goals that came in are very disturbing. If you have a good defense and you are really focused some of the balls will not get in the net at all.

“I believe strongly the Black Stars itself should be dissolved completely and then we hire a very competent coach. Such competent coach should be given the opportunity to select the boys himself and also this must be done very quickly because I believe next year, we are going to have another AFCON,” he added.

This is the first time Ghana has exited the AFCON tournament from the group phase since 2006.
