Following the yelling and call out of Accra Hearts of Oak supporters for the Odotei led strategic management committee to step down due to poor decisions taken affecting the club.

Ex Hearts star Bernard Dong Bortey adding his view on the current struggles of the Oak tree, told Kumasi based "Ashh Fm"

" I will say, David Duncan was the right man bringing back the glory days to hearts before he was sacked, after him Kenichi also came, he was a good coach and if Keni was not fired he could have won the just ended GhPL,I am not the only one who observed that even Stephen Appiah talked about him, all over the world if a coach want to win league title it depends on the team's away performance and even that Kenichi's home performance was not bad, the management should have maintain him."

"I know the reason Kenichi left is because of financial problems, I have played for Hearts before and I know the ins and outs of hearts, players are owe always but is the management that should know how to talk to them because it happened in our time and we were owed for 8 months." He added.

The "humble lion" as he is popularly known narrated what happened under Odotei's first administration at Hearts of Oak when he was a player for the club.

"Odotei came to meet me in the club, under his first administration, I had the opportunity to travel to Israel through the then hearts trainer Ayal Lackman, I returned back home the same year, but Odotei failed to negotiate for my international transfer certificate ( ITC ) and when he left the club, Coach Nii Noi Thompson introduce me back in the team in a top four game against Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara sports stadium in which I scored the only goal through free-kick before the Phobian fans knew am in the club". Bortey bemoaned.

Dong Bortey also known as "Don Papa Diouf" on the resignation of interim head coach and former Hearts winger Yaw Preko.

"I don't know why Yaw Preko resigned, if he thinks he can do the job why should he resign but if he can't he should go, any local trainer who want to coach hearts should be courageous, Barcelona coach Luis Enrique was their former player, Sam Johnson, Armah Senegal and some ex- hearts players should come on board to lead the dug-out as head coach." He admonished.

The former Ghapoha Readers player also called the "serial Killer" rated the the Odotei led strategic committee.

"I will give him 75% because he came to meet most of the players at the club and he did not purchased majority of the players, if players are injured he gets time for the players like a doctor, even if you are having issues with him [Odotei] doesn't care, but his managerial style is poor."

The Ex- Aduana stars and 2015/16 GhPL relegated side New Edubiase winger, opened up on his future after he hangs out his boots.

"I want to be a coach or football agent, it will depend on the offer from the club,if there is a team I will like to coach in Ghana is Kumasi Asante Kotoko or Hearts of Oak."

"I don't have a problem with Odotei but his style of management is nothing to write home about." He amused.

Bernard Dong Bortey won the Ghana premier league titles three times with Accra Hearts Of Oak and also a joint goal King in 2002/3 premier Legue season.
