Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu believes their quarter final game against DR Congo will be a difficult match.

The Black Stars are set to take on DR Congo in the next round of the competition after finishing second in Group D.

Ghana suffered a 1-0 defeat to Egpyt in the final group match in Stade Port Gentil hence finishing as runners up.

Badu who was handed his first start in the competition against Egypt is expecting a tough fixture against a strong Congolese side who finished top in Group C.

“We wanted to finish top and stay in Port Gentil, now we are going to face DR Congo in the next game and is not going to be easy,” he told the pressmen.

“It will be a tough game, Congo is a strong team, they finished top in their Group. But we are looking forward to the game. We hope to improve on our performance and win the game.

“We will make sure we give our best to get the result we want.”
