Executive board member of Hearts of Oak, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has called on the club's supporters to remain calm and patient with head coach Aboubakar Ouattara despite the team's poor start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians have suffered defeats in their opening two games, losing to newly promoted Basake Holy Stars and Heart of Lions.

These results have led to growing calls from fans for Ouattara's dismissal.

However, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe believes it is too early to make such a decision, urging patience as the team undergoes development.

"I am not worried about the team's current form. All I will tell the supporters is that they should just take their time," he said in an interview with Angel Sports.

"We are in the process of building a team, and that takes time. When you are building, it doesn't happen overnight. Look at Manchester United, for example.

They are also losing matches, but you can see Erik ten Hag is building something, and I want us to follow that same approach."

Currently sitting in 18th place on the league table, Hearts of Oak will look to bounce back when they face Bechem United in their third match of the season.

The game will take place at the Legon Sports Stadium as the Accra Sports Stadium is undergoing maintenance.
