Former AIDS ambassador, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah says she has secured 50 million dollars to help build a national cathedral in Ghana.

Joyce made the headlines recently after a video of her soliciting for funds from passengers while on board a German train went viral. She explained that her country [Ghana] was in dire need to build a church for God to come and leave in so that the country's numerous problem would be solved.

According to her “We are building a church for Jesus Christ to come and live in Ghana because we have too much problems. We do not have enough schools for the children, we do not have enough drinking water, we do not have ambulances so when people fall sick they die”.

So many people who misunderstood Ms Mensah's action believed she was doing so in mockery of the President, HE Nana Aku-Addo's move to build a national cathedral.

But in her latest video and photos sighted by Ghanaguardian.com, the controversial actress is seen explaining to a white man in his office why she needs money to help her country put up a national cathedral.

However in a Facebook post, Dzidzor Mensah explained she still stands by her words that she is raising funds for the construction of a national cathedral; and claimed to have secured 50 million dollars so if someone could inform President Akufo-Addo since according to her she "do not have any link to the presidency and I have no idea how to go about the money issue."
