English-born Ghanaian forward Eddie Nketiah set to join Bundesliga side Augsburg on loan for the rest of the season before the window closes tonight.
The move comes just 16 months since Eddie Nketiah made a name for himself with a brace in his second professional appearance for Arsenal.
Nketiah is a target for Augsburg where he coud reunify with former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann, who is an assistant coach.
Lehmann has previously held the position of an assistant to Arsene Wenger at Arsenal and it is believed that the ex-goalkeeper recommended his former protégé, to coach Stefan Reuter.
Arsenal are willing to let him leave before today's deadline with a view to integrating the duo back into their first-team plans next season.
The 19-year-old has been involved in Unai Emery's first team squad on five occasions this season, making two Europa League appearances and one game each in the Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup
Forward Nketiah, 19, has made 15 first-team appearances for the Gunners over the past couple of seasons and has represented England up to Under 21 level.

Nketiah made his debut during a Europa League match with BATE Borisov in September 2017.
Nketiah has a reputation as a top talent on the island. In various youth teams and the Premier League 2 met and meets the 19-year-old like on the assembly line. In the professional team came the 1.80 meters man so far 15 times used, five games in the current season.
