Feet are one of the parts of the body which we pay the least attention to.

Our foot care is limited to cutting our toenails or painting them, but for the most part, we simply forget about them.

However, cracked heels, calluses, and foot odor are frequent problems which we should pay more attention to.

Luckily, there is one ingredient capable of getting rid of them. Best of all, it’s one which you probably have at home. We’re talking about baking soda.

How does it work?

Baking soda has multiple uses, from medicinal to cosmetic. Plus, it can also be used in treatments for the feet, especially to fight bad odor, foot fungus, as well as dry and cracked feet.

If you want to fight bad odor, you can use baking soda as a neutralizer. In this case, we can prepare deodorizer baths or apply the powder directly to our shoes.

To prepare a deodorizing bath, we need a bucket of lukewarm water and two tablespoons of baking soda.

Dissolve the powder in the water and submerge the feet for 20 minutes. If we add a little vinegar to the water, we can intensify the deodorizing effect.

This also has another extra effect: It relaxes tired feet.

As you can see, you don’t need to spend a fortune or invest a whole day indulging in your feet.

Just have some baking soda at hand! If you found this information useful, don’t forget to share it with family and friends.
