Award winning Ghanaian soul songstress,  Jane Fara Fauzier Awindor widely known as Efya has said she will be releasing two major projects this year.

In an interview, the four time VGMA female vocalist of the year indicated that she will be releasing an EP and an album, with six and ten songs on each respectively.

She said: “There’s gonna be an album dropping in 2019. We just signed to a new label, Drop Mind in London. So we are preparing for the next step because a lot has been done. Knowing there’s two sides of Efya we gonna be bringing both sides, do the Afrobeat, do the Highlife and mix it up,”

“There’s an album and an EP cos there’s a lot of music. I will give you guys an album and an Ep, probably an EP before the album. Six songs and then ten songs and probably like eight videos. There isn’t a lot of Efya videos out there,” Efya added.

The 'Best In Me' singer was introduced to the Ghanaian music scene when she made it as one of 12 finalists of the music reality show “Stars of the Future” in 2008.

Efya released her debut album Janesis on April 22, 2016.
