WAFA slump to their fourth straight defeat on matchday 7 as Eleven Wonders runaway 2-1 winners at the Nana Ameryaw Park on Sunday.

The Academy boys were looking to bounce after Medeama halted their 46 games home unbeaten streak in the league in midweek.

But the hosts had other ideas. A quick-fire double from Yusif Hussein and Emmanuel Boahene in the second half ensured the Premier League debutants snatched all three points.

The visitors grabbed a consolation goal through Mohammed Alhassan in the 77th minute but it was too little too late.

WAFA have now dropped into the bottom three after the loss while Wonders climb up to  9th on the standings.
