Ghanaian international, Emmanuel Banahene, has joined Egyptian side Ittihad of Alexandria.

The Ghanaian forward who emerged as a top transfer target for various teams across the continent finally sealed his move to the Egyptian side.

Banehene becomes the sixth signing for Alexandria-based club in the January transfer window as he joins fellow compatriot Wilson Akakpo who also joined them few days ago.

The player previously left Egypt after a dispute with former club Ismaily that resulted in the termination of his contract after going months without getting paid, denying any claims that he ran away.
