Do not lead people by what you say to them; lead them by what they see you do. True leaders are self-leaders. Leadership is an act expressed by the demonstration of characters worthy of imitation, emulation and inspiration.

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) chairman for the Aowin constituency in the Western North region, Mr Mahama Sarni, popularly known as Baba Lotto, has been applauded for his exemplary leadership qualities after he carried the tables used in organising the election on his head to its intended destination in Enchi.

The chairman's action has since received a lot of reactions from party folks and Ghanaians, with some saying "no wonder he has been chairman for years".

The largest opposition party in the country, NDC, on Saturday, August 24, 2019, held primaries to select its parliamentary candidates for the 2020 elections.

The Aowin constituency primaries took place at the Enchi Roman Catholic Social Centre. Ghanaguardian.com gathered that the constituency executives and all the delegates left the election centre after the results of the elections were declared.

According to the report, Chairman Baba Lotto, who was the only executive left behind decided to collect the tables to its intended institution.

The tables, we understand were collected from the Enchi Commey Memorial School to organise the primaries.

Meanwhile, the delegates elected former District Chief Executive (DCE) of Aowin, Hon Oscar Ofori Larbi, who got 462 votes. His closest contender, Mr.Welbeck Brentum, obtained 391 votes, while Dr.Joseph Nyanzu got 225. The least votes of 192 were obtained by the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), Hon Hon.
