Midfielder Enock Morrison has shared details of his final interactions with Asante Kotoko Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, following the termination of his contract at the end of the 2023/24 season.

Morrison, along with over 20 other players, was released by the club as they prepare for the new season.

Reflecting on his relationship with Coach Ogum and the manner of his contract termination, Morrison emphasized the absence of any animosity between them.

“There’s no bad blood between coach Ogum and I. We greeted and spoke briefly at our last meeting after the league ended and I went on holiday," Morrison said on Angel TV.

"Later that week, I received a call from the coach on his decision and I said thanks and wished him well. If I had any bad energy concerning him, I would have probably hung up."

Morrison acknowledged the surprise of the decision but remained optimistic about his future. “I informed my manager and the next transfer plan will be finalized soon.

It’s a decision I hardly expected and it surprised me. However, I have to accept and move on with my career.”

Reports indicate that several prominent Ghanaian clubs have expressed interest in Morrison, although he is anticipated to make a move abroad during the current transfer window.
