Ghanaian defender Eric Boakye has won the Armenian Super Cup with FC Noah after a dramatic penalty shootout victory over FC Ararat-Armenia.

The match ended 1–1 after regulation time before FC Noah prevailed 4–2 on penalties to secure the trophy.

‎Boakye, 26, has been part of an impressive period for the Armenian side, contributing to their recent domestic success as well as their campaign in European competition.

Earlier in the season, the Ghanaian defender featured for FC Noah during the playoff stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League, where the club were eliminated after a 4–1 aggregate defeat to Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.

Despite the European setback, lifting the Armenian Super Cup marks a significant achievement for Boakye and his teammates as they continue to build momentum in domestic competitions.

‎The victory also adds to the growing list of Ghanaian players winning silverware abroad, highlighting the influence of footballers from Ghana across leagues around the world.
