M.anifest's M.anifestivities aims at delivering a premium music experience

OF all the big events that are coming off during the Christmas festivities, one of the highly anticipated concert is M.anifestivities by rapper M.anifest.

M.anifest made a strong showing this year with songs like Mene Woa, Okay, Fine Fine and the performer, who has earned a lot of respect for his ‘deep’ music, is sure to bring it at the concert.

And with a strong line up of supporting acts from both Ghana and Nigeria, a lot of excitement is definitely in store for patrons at M.anifestivities, which will come off on Sunday, December 23 at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

Confirmed acts for the 6pm concert, dubbed ‘The GMT Live experience,’ are Nigeria’s Burna Boy and songstress, Simi and from GH we have soul singer, Efya, Kwesi Arthur and B4Bonah.

M.anifestivities was initiated in 2014 with the aim of delivering a premium music experience and has grown to become one of the top notch events on the Christmas calendar.

This year will see a number of actvities including a food bazaar, a rap battle and DJ battle.

Manifest is a strong advocate of using music to promote the positive Ghanaian and ultimately African story and this year’s edition will push the agenda.

As such, the ultimate aim is to have a premium music experience that brings music and arts which identify the Ghanaian culture to the fore.

Among the many awards M.anifest has won are the Best Artiste in African Hip Hop at this year’s AFRIMA,Best Rapper of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in 2013 and Song Writer of the Year at the City People’s in 2008.

He is is a recipient of the 2010 Minnesota Emerging composer Award by the American Composers Forum.
