First Runner Up of the 2019 edition of the Miss Ghana beauty pageant, Sarah Odei Amoani has resigned.

Exclusive information available to Ghanaguardian.com indicates that Miss Odei Amoani dropped her crown few weeks ago.

Although organizers of the event have remained tight lipped on the resignation, sources explain that Sarah has officially resigned by tendering her resignation letter to the organizers.

Suspicion grew after Sarah was conspicuously missing at a recent donation organized by organizers of the event which had the two other queens present.

Her resignation comes barely two months after she was crowned at this year’s Miss Ghana beauty pageant organised by Exclusive Events Ghana at the Kempinski Gold Coast City hotel in Accra.

Sarah Odei-Amoani won Beauty with a Purpose, Miss Eloquence, Miss Talent and Miss Social Media during the finale of the event.

The beauty queens have been subjected to severe social media trolls since they were crowned queens.

The 2019 winners of the Miss Ghana pageant; Rebecca Nana Adwoa Kwabi, Sarah Odei Amoani and Deborah Opoku Sarfo came under severe criticism and trolls after photographs of them during an interview was posted on social media.

The queens who were mostly described as ugly and undeserving trended for days on social media.

While the reason for her resignation is unclear, ghanaguardian.com  gathers that the beauty queen is currently out of town.
