Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah’s proposed move to Serie A side Empoli is now imminent, Ghanaguardian.com can exclusively reveal.

The 26 year old endured a difficult season under coach Walter Mazari last term as he failed to churn out regular playing minutes.

Acquah’s representatives are currently working to sort out the finalisation of his Torino contract and the ins and outs of his new Empoli deal.

There are only a few details left between the two clubs, and an agreement is expected to be reached on a permanent tranfer soon.

The Ghanaian international has been playing with Torino since 2015 and his contract is due to expire next summer.
