South Africa's Bafana Bafana will touch down in Accra on Monday night ahead of their Afcon  2021 qualifying match against Ghana's Black Stars, Ghanaguardian can exclusively confirm.

South Africa will face four times African champions, Ghana in the opening game of the 2021 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers on Thursday November 14, 2019 at the Cape Coast Stadium.

And ahead of the fixture, the South African Football Association (SAFA) has confirmed that their team will arrive in the West African country on Monday night.

"We are arriving in Ghana tomorrow[Monday] night", SAFA Media Officer Matlhomola Morake told Ghana guard in an interview.

"We will be in Accra by 11pm", he added.

Although Morake didn't add further details of their travels, it is expected that Bafana Bafana will start the initial preparations of the game in Accra before leaving for Cape Coast on Tuesday night.

As per CAF regulations, South Africa will do a mandatory training at the Cape Coast Stadium on Wednesday evening ahead of the game on Thursday.
