Former Ashgold midfielder Bernard Morrison is in demand in South Africa as Black Leopards are keen on signing the player.

Morrison joined South African side Orlando Pirates in 2016 but left the team last year for lack of playing time.

According to the  player's agent, Paul Mujuni, his client is wanted by  current Leopards trainer Luc  Eymael a coach hw has previously worked with  in the past.

Mujuni told KickOff: "Black Leopards are interested in my player Bernard Morrison as coach Luc Eymael knows him from AS Vita.

"We also had interest from Zesco of Zambia and Gor Mahia of Kenya, but we will settle for the one here as the player still has a lot to offer in the PSL.

"He is referred to as Maradona. He is a free agent."

Eymael also confirmed that his club have been in talks with the forward but said bringing a foreign player to the team has its own challenges.

"Yes it can be a possibility, but we've not yet discussed with the management.

"You know first of all we have to release some foreigners, and we can only release foreigners after the end of December.

"So, after that, we will see how many foreign players we can get." He said.
