Spanish second-division side Real Oviedo are set to announce the signing of Ghana midfielder Richard Boateng  from UD Melilla this week.

Ghanaguardian.com understands that there is a total agreement in place for the transfer of the former Liberty Professionals star.

He is set to complete a medical exam with the Blues in the coming days and be officially unveiled as their first signing of the summer.

The 25 year old managed 35 appearances for Melilla in the Spanish third tier this campaign including 25 starts, scoring an impressive 14 goals in the process- one of which was voted the best of the season in Group IV of Segunda B.
