Ghanaian international, Christopher Antwi-Adjei has finally been released by Bundesliga outfit SC Paderborn is set join his Black Stars team mate.

The winger received his maiden call up by Ghana for the final international break of the season but due to a variety of formalities, it seemed a journey to the west African country was initially impossible.

But the 24-year old has now been cleared and will team up with Ghana on Wednesday.

"In an intensive dialogue with the authorities and all those involved, we were finally able to find a solution," an SC Paderborn statement read.

Ghanaguardian can Confirm that Antwi-Adjei boarded a plane this Wednesday to join the Ghana squad for the first time.

Two games are scheduled for Ghana's national team over the next few days: at home on 14 November against South Africa and on 18 November away in Sao Tome e Principe.
