Manchester United leads the list of several teams interested in defending Real Valladolid, Mohammed Salisu. The Red Devils have set their sights on the 20-year-old, and could go for him in the month of January.

Doubts about United's defense came up again last Sunday when they played out a disappointing 3-3 draw against Sheffield United in the Premier League.

The 20-year-old, who has participated in all LaLiga matches with Valladolid this season, ends his contract with the Pucela team at the end of this season.

According to information from the Diario de Valladolid, United scouts have been impressed with Salisu's performance and see the Ghanaian as an affordable option for their interests.

The Red Devils know that the current player's contract contains a termination clause of 12 million euros. However, the Manchester team is not the only team that is following the performance of the Valladolid player.

Salisu, whose agent is the father of United striker Juan Mata, has also aroused the interest of other Premier teams such as Everton, Newcastle, Southampton and Norwich City.
