Football governing body FIFA has sent a congratulatory message to Ghana Premier League side Wa All Stars for their record-setting title triumph.
The Blues of the North set a club record by winning the Ghana Premier League title for the first time in the club's history since joining the top tier division.
In a congratulatory letter signed by new FIFA boss Gianni Infantino, the world football governing body acknowledged the great feat attained by the Wa based club urging the players and technical team of the club to continue working hard "leading the way on this path of success"
All Stars title win meant that they became the first team from the northern part of Ghana to win the title since the inception of the competition.
All Stars fully wrapped hands on the title after their 2:1 win against Aduana in Match Week 29 of the league.
