Ghana’s female senior national team, Black Queens, have maintained their position as Africa’s 2nd best in the latest FIFA ranking.

The ranking was released by FIFA on their official website on Friday.

The 2015 All Africa Women’s games Winners, however, remained at number 46th position in the world.

Banyana Banyana of South Africa, who made their debut in the football event of the Olympics at the Rio 2016 Olympics, were Africa’s highest movers, as they moved up four places from 52nd to 48th in the world.

However, in the overall world rankings, there was no change in the top three spots, as the United States of America, Germany and France occupy the positions respectively.
