Hearts of Oak talisman Patrick Razak says the season's Ghana Premier League has been fiercely competitive looking at how close the gap is at both ends of the table.

He says gone are the times were it was relatively easier to predict the outcome of matches something you can't be sure of this term.

The 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League has been very competitive with teams at both halves with almost identical strength as none of the teams at the top has taken a stranglehold on the title whiles the relegation dogfight too is also very tight and difficult to predict.

According to Razak the standard of play in the Ghana Premier League has vastly improved considering how competitive the league has been.

“It’s true because as you can see if you look at the league table the points are not too wide, only difference three, two, one and if you look at the relegation side too it is not bad so this season league is very tough and I think football has really improved in Ghana so administrators and others saying the league is tough is true” he told GBC.

I’m a player and playing in the league and I can say it is very tough. Last Sunday, we won by a goal to nil against Inter Allies but as you can see we never had it easy against them, it very tough but we managed to win so this season the league is tough”

Hearts of Oak are currently third on the league table same points as Medeama but with better goal difference
