Forgive me - Remorseful Moesha breaks silence, apologizes to women
13th April 2018
Under fire socialite, Moesha Bodoung, has finally broken her silence on comments she made in an interview with one of the World's most sought after journalist, Christiane Amanpour on CNN.
In the interview dubbed, 'Sex & Love Around the World', Miss Buodong stated that; “Ghana our economy is such that you just need someone to take care of you because you can't make enough money as a woman here," she said.
"When you want to get an apartment, in Ghana you pay two years in advance and I just started working, where will I get the money,....."
"He expects me to be loyal and just to date him only and give him sex when he wants. You can't say no.You have to give him what he wants otherwise he is going to think you are cheating on him, "
The comment caused massive outrage on social media especially on her Instagram page where the backlash has been particularly harsh.
Miss Boduong in an Instagram post Friday, rendered an unqualified apology to women in Africa stating that "It was definitely not my intention to offend any of you. I respect all the hard working women of our beloved country and accept that some of my utterances were not a reflection of what happens in most homes".
