Forgotten man Dominic Adiyiah is in the news once again after a long while, Adyiah has joined a second-tier club in Thailand.

The former Ghana U-20 star who emerged as the best player in the World U-20 Youth tournament in Egypt has gone off the radar after career moves to AC Milan,Fredrikstad and other clubs which all resulted in a failed move.

Chiangmai United have announced the acquisition of the forward on a one year contract, who for some time now has been plying his trade in the lower leagues in Asia.

He joins Chinagmai United as a free agent after the expiration of his contract with Sisaket.

The 29 year old Ghanaian has scored a paltry 32 goals in 201 appearances for the last 9 years for clubs he has played for.

Dominic Adiyiah was part of the Black Stars team that nearly reached the 2010 World Cup semifinals but for Luis Suarez and was even on the pitch and headed the goal bound ball Suarez caught with his hands.

He scored four goals in 20 appearances for senior national team.
