A 16-year-old Form 2 girl has been stabbed to death by her 'boyfriend' after she allegedly rejected his sexual advances.
Police preliminary investigations revealed that the girl was stabbed at least 10 times on Thursday evening of November 28, 2019.
She died on the spot, cops say.

The incident happened at the suspect’s parents’ home in Mirera, which is located 20 kilometers from Naivasha Town, Kenya.
The boy, thereafter, hid the teenager’s body under his bed, and removed it early Friday, and dumped it at the gate of the girl’s parents, Naivasha OCPD, Samuel Waweru, told K24 Digital.
When the victim’s parents woke up Friday morning, they were shocked to be told by a passerby that their daughter’s naked body had been dumped on their doorstep. The deceased’s parents say they last saw her on Thursday afternoon, when they left her to run their shop.
The deceased, Valerie Njeri, was allegedly lured by the boy into his parents’ home, where she was allegedly defiled and, thereafter, stabbed at least ten times. The suspect’s parents were not at home during the incident.
It is said the suspect hid the girl’s body under his bed, and woke up in the wee hours of Friday morning to dump it at the girl’s parents’ doorstep.
A trail of blood from his bedroom to where he dumped the body, however, gave him away.
The girl’s father, John Nduno, told K24 Digital that he and his wife had left their daughter to run their shop Thursday afternoon as they went for a burial function within Laikipia.
“When we returned in the evening, Thursday, we looked for Njeri everywhere, but we did not find her. On Friday morning, a neighbour knocked on our door and told us that our daughter’s body was lying at the main gate,” said Nduno.
The distressed parent said the suspect was well known to him, and that a few days ago, he [Nduno] gave the boy a lift in his car.
The suspect’s mother told K24 Digital that on Friday morning, her son “woke up earlier than usual”, and when she asked him what the problem was, he allegedly told her that he wanted to study.
“Since my son joined Form Three, his behaviour changed drastically; he became rude. However, I couldn’t imagine that he would commit such a crime,” said the suspect’s mother.
Jane Wanjiku, a neighbour of both families, described the deceased, Njeri, as a “very humble, respectful, and intelligent girl”.
“The two teenagers were well known to us. It saddens me that one of them is dead, whereas the other one is likely to be jailed,” said Wanjiku.
Njeri’s body was taken to a Naivasha hospital mortuary.
