Former Hearts of Oak striker Bernard Arthur has joined newly promoted Albanian league side FK Apolonia Fier in the current transfer window.

The player was deemed surplus to requirements at Accra Hearts of Oak after struggling to make an impression at the capital based side.

Arthur completed the move after passing his mandatory medical examinations and agreeing personal terms with his new side.

The former Liberty Professionals striker joined his new side as a free agent after parting ways with Accra Hearts of Oak in August.

Arthur will be hoping to resdiscover his goal scoring touch after enduring a spell to forget at Hearts of Oak.

He has previously played for Liberty Professionals, AS Aïn M’lila and Tanzanian giant Azam FC.
