Former Asante Kotoko and Medeama striker Abass Mohammed is looking for a new home after he was cut loose by his last two clubs.

The lanky striker is currently on trials with Kumasi based King Faisal as he hopes to impress.

He has the last few weeks been training with King Faisal as he bids to land a new contract after he was jettisoned by Medeama.

Abass Mohammed parted ways with Medeama SC at the end of the 2020/2021 season after an underwhelming season at the Tarkwa based side during his second stint.

He made his name on the local scene at Medeama during his first stint where he helped them clinch the MTN FA Cup in 2015 and scored a lot of goals in the CAF Confederations Cup for Medeama.

The striker scored five goals in the 2016 CAF Confederations Cup, finishing two-goals less behind Zambian Rainford Kalaba who eventually emerged as the competition's top scorer with seven goals.

Ever since then his career has taken a nose dive despite moves to Asante Kotoko which failed miserable and another to his old stomping grounds Tarkwa which also backfired.
