Four people have been admitted at the Tema General hospital after an accident resulted due to the spillage of fuel from a Toyota Corolla with registration number GE 1640-15 slipped off the road emptying some fuel on the street.

Speaking to the press, Divisional Officer 1,  Mr Timothy Osafo Afum, the Second in Command of the Ghana National Fire Service said the spillage of the fuel resulted in the road becoming slippery causing a second accident involving a Nissan Navara pick-up with registration number GN 9099-16 which also skidded off the road injuring the driver on board.

The accident happened at about 7:50 am around the Kasapreko area on the Tema bound section of the motorway.

The Ghana National Fire Service responded by washing off the spilled fuel from the road to prevent further casualties.
