Friends mourn popular TikToker Priscilla Afia Larbi, who is among El-Wak stampede victims

Friends and followers of popular Ghanaian TikToker Priscilla Afia Larbi have taken to social media to mourn her after reports emerged that she is among the six individuals who died in the tragic stampede at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, during the Ghana Armed Forces’ annual recruitment exercise. According to an official statement from the Armed Forces, six applicants lost their lives, while many others sustained serious injuries after a large crowd reportedly breached security barriers.
The military further disclosed that 28 victims were rushed to the 37 Military Hospital. Of this number, five were admitted to the ICU, and 12 remained in critical condition.
In the wake of the tragedy, government officials including Gender Minister Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey and Deputy Defence Minister Brogya Genfi visited the homes of some victims to console their families.
Priscilla Afia Larbi, who had amassed over 40,000 followers on TikTok, is alleged to be one of the deceased, along with Priscilla Akua Nyamalor, Midorse Matilda, and Yvonne Amoateng.
Tributes have since flooded social media. TikToker Bhig Toni Don shared news of Priscilla’s alleged passing using an old video of her confidently posing for the camera. Another content creator, Daniel Nartey, posted a clip of the late Priscilla dancing to Nii Funny and Spanky’s 2019 hit song “Broken Heart” in a well-furnished room.
The online community continues to express shock and sorrow over the sudden loss of the vibrant young creator.
