Women's football are set to be the worst hit as a possible FIFA ban is looming over Ghana due to government dissolution of GFA after the Anas Tiger eye Pl corruption exposé.

Ghana's Attorney General took steps to dissolve the Ghana football Association on the 12th June,2018 in an Accra High Court for 10 days.

But the Owners of Women football league in an emergency meeting on Thursday petitioned the Government  to revoke his decision on the Football Association before FIFA slams ban on Ghana.

According to the C.E.O of Ampem Darkoa ladies Nana Gyeabour Okufo  Ameyaw Ampem Darko the petition is not to challenge govt but FIFA outlaws governmental interference in the running of any of its member associations and feared sanctions on the FA.

"Our petition is not going there to challenge the Government but what we are saying they shouldn't do anything which may call for FIFA ban for our women football,"

He added; " Most of the (footballers) players are orphans, drop out and so on , who have taken the desire to play football to earn a living."

According to Fifa statutes all the member of associations must handle their affairs in an independent fashion or are liable to sanctions.

"The owners of the teams find it difficult to run their club. The female players rely on the national teams to survive,"

"When this happens Ghana can't partake in international competition, the ladies football clubs will have to release the ladies from their camps  and as ladies some will get pregnant and depressed among other social vices which will drastically affect their career and Indeed contribute to Economic hardship."

Unless a quick resolution is reached, the Ghana 2019 AWCON, the women's U-17 and U -20 World Cup could be affected.

Football's world governing body FIFA have tasked three member delegation to meet Ghana government and the defunct GFA on Friday to find resolution for the crisis afflicting Ghana football or face possible consequences But Reports say Government is not ready to meet FIFA on Friday.
