Ghana FA presidential aspirant Goerge Afriyie in an audacious interview has suggested that disqualified contestant Wilfred Osei Palmer should stop wasting his time by contesting his disqualification as he will lose the elections If he is even cleared.

In spite of his massive endorsement from most of the top premier league clubs including Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Medeama, George Afriyie’s comments in the interview with Asempa fm at times sounded a bit foolhardy.

“Palmer will get 15 votes; maximum, if he’s cleared to contest,” George said.

He made the comments last night on Asempa Fm’s late night Sports show where he was a guest.

The overzealous sounding George Afriyie has decided to opt out of the novelty Presidential debate that is been organized by the Normalization Committee on 21st October 2019.

Palmer was disqualified due to breaches of Article 33(5)(c) of the Ghana General Regulations, as well as getting on the wrong side of GFA ethical committee ruling in 2017.

Palmer is currently contesting his disqualification at CAS and Fifa.
