Prosper Harrison Addo, the General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), represented Ghana at the launch of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Football Management Executive Programme, held at the University of Cape Town.

The initiative, spearheaded by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, is designed to strengthen leadership and governance within African football by equipping administrators from CAF's 54 Member Associations with essential management skills.

During the event, Addo delivered a compelling presentation on the growth of women’s football in West Africa, highlighting Ghana's efforts and strategies to elevate the sport across the region.

His presentation underscored the GFA’s commitment to developing women's football, sharing insights on the progress and challenges faced in promoting the sport.

The programme, which combines online and on-site learning, is a key part of CAF’s broader efforts to enhance football administration across the continent.

The initiative aims to build capacity among football executives, ensuring more sustainable and competitive management practices within African football associations.

Addo's participation, alongside GFA Deputy General Secretary Ama Brobey Williams, reflects the GFA's active involvement in contributing to the advancement of African football governance.
