In order to strengthen the corporate image and promotional capabilities of Division One League clubs across the country, a virtual seminar on media and marketing is being held for clubs on a zonal basis.

The seminar, which began on Tuesday, is part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to equip clubs with the knowledge and tools to enhance their media presence and fan engagement.

The first session focused on media and marketing officers from Zone One clubs; the seminar continues with Zone Two clubs on Wednesday, and concludes with Zone Three on Thursday.

Clubs are being trained on key areas including; Match Promotion & Publicity, Club Media and Marketing, Fan Engagement and Retention and Match Day Activations.

A team of seasoned experts from the GFA are leading the discussions. Speakers include:

- Jamil Maraby, Head of Marketing, who is providing insights on strategies for effectively marketing the clubs so that they can attract the needed resources to be continuously successful. Jamil is also providing guidance on developing engaging match-day activities to enhance the fan experience.

- Neil Armstrong- Mortagbe, Head of Public Relations and Strategy, who is highlighting on the importance of effective public relations in enhancing club image and communication.

These seminars are designed to offer the Division One League clubs the necessary knowhow to build stronger fanbases, increase match-day attendance, and attract sponsorship, ultimately elevating the profile of football at the second-tier of Ghana.
