GFA to release 2025/26 Premier League fixtures on August 4
The Ghana Football Association has announced that the full fixture list for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League will be officially released on Monday, August 4.
The schedule will detail all 34 rounds of matches for the 18 top-flight clubs, mapping out the entire journey of the new league season.
Per the GFA’s statement, the league will kick off over the weekend of September 12, 2025, and wrap up on the weekend of May 23–24, 2026.
The season’s timeline has been carefully designed to ensure all domestic competitions are completed ahead of the 23rd FIFA World Cup, set to take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
This alignment with the international football calendar is intended to give Ghanaian players and clubs adequate room to prepare for and participate in the global tournament.
