Former Ghana midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari featured for Accra Hearts of Oak in their 3-0 friendly win over Bechem United at the Legon Ajax Park on Wednesday, 25th July, 2018.

Hearts took a 1-0 half time lead courtesy of a 4th minute strike by Kojo Obeng who dinked the ball over the keeper after Patrick Razak and Joseph Esso combined to set him up.

Muntari was introduced for Isaac Mensah in the second half. He was involved straight away in the 54th minute with a telegraphed pass for Razak but the winger strayed just offside.

Razak and Kojo Obeng registered their name on the scoresheet in the 60th & 70th minute respectively to cap off a convincing performance by the rainbow lads.

Sulley Muntari who has been training with Hearts of Oak for the past two weeks on Monday morning gave each of the 22 players who were present at the training $100 each.

Rumours are rife that Muntari who is strongly associated with the Phobians and watches their matches will play for the Accra-based giants before he retires.
