This year’s Cal Bank Super Cup, will be launched on Thursday 10th October 2019 at the head office of Cal Bank in Accra.

In the maiden edition last year, invited participants were grouped into two zones (Zone A and B).

Last year's  Cal Bank Super Cup, was held from November 10 to December 02, with 16 teams from four regions competing for the ultimate but may be there could be an increase in this year's edition.

CAL Bank’s sponsorship which was brokered by the GBSA President Yaw Ampofo-Ankrah has aided the rapid development and growth of Beach Soccer in Ghana.

From just ten clubs in 2010, the GBSA increased its membership to twenty clubs with over 600 registered beach soccer players in 2011.

Ghana participated in her first international beach soccer tournament in 2013 when a team made up entirely of amateur players represented the country in Al Jadida, Morocco for a slot at the 2013 FIFA World Cup.
