The Ghana Football Asscociation will continue to pile the pressure on CAF over points status of the botched Sierra Leone game.

The double header which was slated for Kumasi and Freetown on October 11 and 14, was called off after Sierra Leone failed to meet a Fifa ultimatum.

The GFA Normalization Committee have confirmed writing to CAF requesting for the 6 points that were up for grabs in the 2019 AFCON qualifier.

CAF has still not given it’s ruling regarding the issue with Ghana’s FA expected not to back down.

While reports say Ghana could be awarded full points for the two games, other speculations say Sierra Leone will be taken out of the group completely, leaving only three teams. The results of the Leone Stars' two games played until now, in that case, would be nullified.

Meanwhile Ghana will travel to Addis Ababa to face Ethiopia on 18 November, 2018 needing a win to revive their qualifying campaign.

The Black Stars are in third place in Group H; four points behind leaders Kenya who have seven but have played two matches less.
