The Black Stars wants to fill the void left by CAF's decision to postpone the 2022 World Cup qualifiers from June to September this year.

Ghana was scheduled to take on South Africa and Ethiopia next month but that has been shelved.

The Ghana Football Association are keen to raise some two friendly matches in order to keep the team fit ahead of the qualifiers.

It will also afford the technical team the opportunity the chance to hand call ups to players they want to try.

The FA is looking at playing high profile sides such as Nigeria, Senegal, Algeria and Morocco to keep the team fit.

GFA will in the coming days release the team's itinerary for next month which will reportedly include a training camp in Europe and two friendly games.

Head coach C.K Akonnor is expected to name his squad for the two friendly games when he meets the press this afternoon at 3pm.

Ghana after three successive World Cups in 2006,2010 and 2014 missed out in Russia in 2014 and would want to qualify this time.
